|Content||The Inaugural General Meeting of the ARIN-AP (Asset Recovery Interagency Network - Asia Pacific) was successfully held at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office during November 19-20, 2013. The Meeting attracted 21 countries from Asia-Pacific region as well as 6 international organizations including UNODC, World Bank, and CARIN. The Supreme Prosecutors' Office took the role of Secretariat of the ARIN-AP. The Office of Secretariat has officially started to run at the International Cooperation Center since December 30, 2013. The ARIN-AP is an informal network of contacts which intends to serve as a cooperative group in all aspects of tackling the proceeds of crime in the Asia-Pacific region. By launching ARIN-AP, it is expected that countries in Asia-Pacific region can cooperate each other more effectively, and the SPO, as the Secretariat of the Network, can take the initiative in the field of international criminal asset recovery.
